Margaret Mara (nee de Jersey) draws inspiration from the immediate events in her life. Margaret reflects on the environment, family stories, life in the Cape, emotions and anything else that affects her as an individual. 

 

Unsatisfied with realistic painting Margaret has developed a more contemporary and abstract style.

As a professional artist Margaret’s work can be seen in private collections both nationally and internationally, and in the collections of businesses such as Rio Tinto and the QLD Public Service Offices in Brisbane, Australia..
